Prior to the concert at 3 p.m., children can participate in an instrument petting zoo where they will be able to get up close to the instruments that will be played later on stage. Program highlights of this interactive, hour-long concert for all ages include Percy Aldridge Grainger’s “Children’s March,” John Wasson’s “Curtain Call,” Rossano Galante’s “The Redwoods” and Sir Henry Wood’s “Fantasia on British Sea-Songs.” Evan Feldman and the Triangle Wind Ensemble as they take the audience on a discovery of the building blocks of concert music.
